We are used to everything being fast (computers, internet, mobile, etc.) and we also want the websites we browse to be even faster.
As we already know, Google and its AI do not stop improving and have put into their positioning algorithm something that is very important for the average user experience, such as the WPO.
The WPO is the acronym for “Web Performance Optimization” and is a set of techniques aimed at improving the performance of the web page, thus reducing the waiting time.
Put another way: it is the way to “trick” your web page so that it goes as fast as possible. In an automotive analogy, it is something similar to lighten the weight of the car, removing unnecessary parts, using less heavy materials and putting a huge engine and large wheels, to be the first to cross the finish line.
These techniques are used to improve the speed of our website, not just one page.
